Little, Brown Books for Young Readers has acquired English language translation rights to the first 9 volumes of Nagaru Tanigawa’s best selling Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi novel series. Tanigawa’s novels are the source for both a manga adaptation and the popular anime television series. The first domestic Haruhi Suzumiya novel will be published in April 2009 and retail at $8.99 in softcover and $16.99 in hardcover.<\/p>\n
