{"id":12149,"date":"2008-01-14T10:52:00","date_gmt":"2008-01-14T14:52:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.animenation.net\/blog\/2008\/01\/14\/live-action-wild-life-television-series-canceled\/"},"modified":"2008-01-14T10:52:00","modified_gmt":"2008-01-14T14:52:00","slug":"live-action-wild-life-television-series-canceled","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.animenation.net\/blog\/live-action-wild-life-television-series-canceled\/","title":{"rendered":"Live Action Wild Life Television Series Canceled"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Nippon Television Network has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ntv.co.jp\/news\/100987.html\" target=\"_blank\">reported<\/a> that the NHK television network has canceled its plans to produce a live action television series adaptation of Masato Fujisaki&#8217;s award winning manga series Wild Life following the deaths of two giraffes involved in the production of the program.<\/p>\n<p>During filming at the Akita Omoriyama Zoo in December, female giraffe Ririka was separated from her baby, Himawari, for the first time, for a period of three days. Ririka collapsed and died two days after the filming ended.
