Japanese University To Begin Teaching Anime & Manga Production

The Kyoto Seika University in Kyoto, Japan has announced plans to offer courses in anime and manga creation and criticism beginning next spring. This will be the first time a Japanese national university has ever offered formal training for the anime and manga industries. The university reportedly plans to initially accept 200 students into the program.
