New York Museum of Modern Art Hosts Anime Exhibitions

New York City’s Museum of Modern Art will host a 13 film retrospective on the works of Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata from June 3-30. The Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata: Masters of Animation exhibition will also host the American premier of Howl’s Moving Castle on June 6th.

The New York Museum of Modern Art will also host a two month long comprehensive overview of Japanese animation titled “Anime!!” open from July 10 through September 12. Information on the “Anime!!” exhibition will be forthcoming.
