Sentai Reveals New Acquisitions

Sentai Filmworks has formally announced its acquisition of two additional TV series and two feature films.

Sentai will release the 12-episode 2010 Okamikakushi television series on subtitled DVD later this year under the title “Okamikakushi ~ Masque of the Wolf.” The horror/mystery series is based on Ryukishi07’s PSP game.

Sentai will release the two-episode TV mini-series Kämpfer für die Liebe on subtitled DVD later this year. The two episodes from 2011 are a continuation of the 2009 Kämpfer television series that Sentai presently distributes on subtitled DVD.

Sentai will release the award-winning 2010 feature film Colorful on DVD & Blu-ray “soon.” The adaptation of Eto Mori’s 1999 young adult novel is the story of a spirit placed into the body of a 14-year-old boy who just committed suicide. The spirit is charged with learning what drove the boy to kill himself.

Sentai has extended its distribution of the K-On franchise by acquiring the 2010 K-On motion picture. The movie will be released on bilingual domestic DVD & Blu-ray.
