Voice of the Kamen Rider Series Dead at 72

Noted narrator and voice actor Nakae Shinji has passed away after suffering with liver cancer. Anime fans may be familiar with Nakae work as narrator in anime series including Fruits Basket and the 2005 Glass Mask, but Nakae is best known as the narrator for the original Kamen Rider live action television series and its TV specials and movies.

Nakae had a prolific career as a narrator and voice actor in live action and anime productions from 1967 through 2005.
