A newly formed Japanese company called BrezzaSoft Corporation has announced that they are developing the next The King of Fighters arcade title in Japan. Brezza Soft is currently looking for developers for their new project. BrezzaSoft Corporation appears to be a new company formed by former SNK developers (and perhaps funded by Capcom), and they have acquired the rights of KoF from SNK.

Sega of Japan has revealed their tentative plans to begin developing software for multiple platforms. The plans calls for Sega to begin with developing software for i-Mode cellular phones and hand held computer organizers. From there Sega will begin development for hand held console machines (GameBoy Color/Advance and WonderSwan Color are both possible candidates) and then possibly move to supporting Nintendo’s GameCube, Sony’s PlayStation 2 and Microsoft’s X-Box.
