Venice Film Festival to Honor Miyazaki

On August 9th the 62nd annual Venice Film Festival, the world’s oldest active film festival, will honor Hayao Miyazaki with its prestigious Golden Lion award for career achievement. Miyazaki will be the first Japanese director to be so honored by the Venice Film Festival.
