Universal Licenses Brotherhood of the Wolves

While this is only extremely remotely anime related, it is, nonetheless, quite cool. Universal has obtained the license to theatrically the French period piece horror/action film Brotherhood of the Wolves (Le Pacte Des Loups) in American theaters. The film co-stars Mark Dacascos and is written and directed by French director Christophe Gans. The film has received rave reviews from critics and has been a smash hit in its native country. Christophe Gans and Mark Dacascos previously worked together in the superb Canadian live-action adaptation of Crying Freeman, which was unfortunately never released in the US.

Since the official French movie site seems to be down, a streaming version of the movie trailer is available here.
