Sweet Poolside Live-Action Movie Announced

Daigo Matsui, director of the live-action Danchi Kokosei no Nichijou & Afro Tanaka movies, will helm a live-action feature adaptation of Shuzo Oshimi’s 2004 romantic drama manga Sweet Poolside. Kenta Suga will play a high school boy swim-team member with unusually hair-less skin who meets a female swim-team member, played by Yuiko Kariya, who has especially hairy skin. The movie is tentatively scheduled to premiere in January.
