Super Street Fighter II OVA Coming to America

Capcom has formally announced the September 18th release of the limited edition Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collection Set. The hefty $149.99 box, available for both Xbox 360 and PS3, will include the Street Fighter X Tekken, Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition, Street Fighter III 3rd Strike Online Edition, and Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix games will all DLC, a double-disc Blu-ray set including a new Street Fighter documentary, the complete (presumably) American Street Fighter animated series, the Street Fighter II anime motion picture, the Street Fighter IV: Ties That Bind OVA, and the previously Japanese exclusive Super Street Fighter IV OVA. The set will also include 11 soundtrack CDs, a hardcover book, a light-up Ryu statue, a replica of Ryu’s black belt, and a numbered certificate of authenticity.

Gonzo’s Super Street Fighter IV OAV that’s never been released on American home video was way better than 4°C’s “Arata naru Kizuna” OVA that did hit American Blu-ray.
