Pioneer Announcements

In this week’s announcement from Pioneer, they have listed the first volume of Card Captor Sakura. Yes, Card Captor Sakura, not Card Captors, for DVD release September 12th. The first volume will contain 4 Japanese dialogue episodes for $29.98. September 19th will be the release date for volume three of the DVD release of Gundam Wing, and volumes four and five “Showdown in Space” and “Way of the Warrior” on VHS. Also on the 19th will be the second DVD volume of Key the Metal Idol, entitled “Dreams.” On the 26th Pioneer will be releasing the first volume of Dual on dubbed and subbed VHS and DVD. [Trouble Adventure Story: Dual Parallel Lun Lun is the most recent effort from Tenchi Muyo creator Masaki Kajishima, and is a light, humorous Evangelion parody TV series.] The first episode volume will retail for $24.98 and $29.98 DVD. Also on the 26th will be the VHS and DVD release of the fourth volume of Trigun, entitled “Gung Ho Guns.”
