New Gainax Anime Announced

Following on the heels of Gainax’s announcement of their TV adaptation of Mahoromatic, the July issue of Newtype Magazine reports that Gainax has two other anime TV series in the works. AnimeNation has (very) roughly translated their names as “Abeno Supernatural Department Store,” seemingly a comedy in the vein of FLCL, and “Melody of Oblivion,” an action show based on a fantasy RPG and manga published in Shonen Ace magazine.
