Mind Meet Blown
If you can overlook the poor audio and degraded multi-generational video, this fan created anime short from 1994 may be the single most amazingly detailed work of animation you’ve ever seen. While the animation quality itself is good, the amount of visual detail on display is staggeringly awesome. They don’t make ‘um like this anymore. Or if anyone does, point me in that direction.

Wow… The amount of work is certainly impressive. I’m not sure if I like the animation style (they sure went a little overboard with the smoke and dust effects), but it certainly is A LOT of animation.
Reminds me a lot to Nosferatu’s work… That “Messenger From The Sea” short displays similar effects animation, and the whole black & white aesthetic is another point in common.
