Komachi to Dangoro Promotional Anime Online

Japan’s Niigata Prefecture is now streaming its full-length 8-minute publicity anime short film Komachi to Dangoro ~Lagoon Stone o Sagase!~ (Komachi and Dangoro: Find the Lagoon Stone!). The promotional anime from studio Mappa (Sakamichi no Apollon) follows Niigata City’s mascot characters Komachi Hanano and Dangoro Sasa while they search for a mystical stone that fell to earth. The short was directed by Niigata Prefecture native Hisashi Abe (Chobits, Gunslinger Girl, Devil May Cry).
