KanoUso Prologue TV Series Scheduled

In advance of the opening of the live-action Kanojo wa Uso o Ai Shisugiteru (“Lovely Love Lie”) motion picture on December 14, the Fuji TV network will broadcast a ten-episode Kanojo wa Uso o Ai Shisugiteru Side Story ~Boku to Kanojo ga Deau Mae no Monogatari~ (“Lovely Love Lie Side Story ~A Story of Before She and I Met”) television series prequel. Edited 10-minute episodes will begin airing on December 9. The full-length 15-minute episodes will be broadcast beginning on December 16. The adaptation of Kotomi Aoki’s manga revolves around a successful pop-song composer who decides to retreat from the music industry, only to learn that his girlfriend, who doesn’t know his profession, happens to be a big fan of his music.
