Arno-sheeh..it's like the difference Suger and salt...Egyptian people are kind and nice people who like to help but seriously really don't mess with a man from South Egypt...well,most of the pharaohs are from there anyway...they are scary REAL scary
Italians here don't have the image of being scary as much as they're thought of as being obnoxious douchebags.

Ok, so was the kid reckless or negligent?

Wait... stepping back the age of criminal responsibility in New Jersey is 14... wait that's not relevant is it?

...Wait can you sue a child? How is it I don't even know that? (probably because no-one ever sues a goddamn child!) Uh... contracts are not enforceable against minors except for contracts for necessaries

(A necessary differs from a necessity in that different people have different necessary - a law student needs law books an engineering student doesn't.

)

And employment (if they're old enough but that's more dealing with minors rather than young children) but that's got little to do with a personal injury case, has it?

Uh... I need to know more about the law as it applies to children it seems.

Or more sleep. I opt for the latter.

I suppose there must be some case to answer otherwise we wouldn't be hearing about it.

Do Americans have juries in personal injury cases? They'll toss it out I'm sure if they do. I mean she's attacking a child playing baseball for goodness sake! She might as well set fire to an American flag right there in the courtroom!

That's an Italian stereotype? I've heard that people from Rome (not necessarily the rest of Italy) are known for driving like they've got a death wish and want you to know it but that's about it.

Well, if you do go, stay away from Naples. The place is a pit.

There is no such thing as an accident any more. There must always be someone to blame who can be sued for some money.

America has become the land of lawsuits.

Everyone is suing another person whether it is unintentional or not, whether it was the accuser's fault or not.

Out of all the lawsuits I recall, there is the hot coffee lawsuit or the smokers lawsuit

The old lady who spilled hot coffee on her lap sued McDonald for not warning her that coffee was too hot and was awarded $2.7 million. After the lawsuit, you now have the warning label "Caution: too hot!" on the lid of your coffee cup.

It was the old lady's fault that she spilled hot coffee. She should have been more careful with handling the hot cup. But she blames the company for her own mistake.

The cancer-stricken ex-smokers sued the cigarette makers, because they said they did not know about the dangers of smoking until it was too late. That is why you now see the warning label "Smoking is hazardous to your health." on the cigarette packs.

For many years before the lawsuits, everyone knows smoking is bad for health. It is no secret at all.

Uhm. Well as an example, the last time I went back home to visit mom and dad, I had been there all of 15 minutes when my mom started screaming at my dad because he didn't make her dinner the way she liked it, then stormed off and slammed her bedroom door so hard the molding fell off the outside.

Haven't seen that. By that I mean entitlement, NOT Italian women going completely psycho. That I saw regularly, as I know a woman from Sicily who lived nearby.

That's a lot of woman I meet lately actually, mostly Spanish chicks who had a tough divorce who think all men are creepy evil things, but can't understand that just because she's a MILF, and I would so tap that if I had the chance, I honestly could not assist her in her life problems and still have the sanity to commit to my own life goals.
