Making your own Toonami lineup.
If you were in charge of CN and had the choice of which cartoon/anime you wanted in your lineup, what would they be? You can use the anime that are shown on other networks (Marvel Comics anime on G4 for example). Here is a schedule example that you can use:
(Example) 4:00 PM - Dragon Ball 4:30 PM - Yu Yu Hakusho 5:00 PM - Spider-Man (90s) cartoon) 5:30 PM - X-Men 6:00 PM - etc 6:30 PM - etc 7:00 PM - etc 7:30 PM - 8:00 PM - 8:30 PM - 9:00 PM - 9:30 PM - Cant wait to see what everyone can come up with. I will have something soon |

YOu can also add anime that isnt dubbed, but you think should like Kimi ni Todoke, Amagami SS, Nyan Koi, Toriko, etc.

I'd rather the stuff that was on Toonami go to Adult Swim instead. It wouldn't be edited as much this time around that way. Combine the best of the Toonami lineup and the original stuff on Adult Swim.

I'd just keep everything to Adult Swim and air the unedited version of all of those shows.

Anyways i'd go Dragon Ball Z Mobile Suit Gundam (once it finishes airing then start Zeta + the AU's.) Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (I know Sci-Fi aired this at one point.) Cowboy Bebop Ronin Warriors Ghost In The Shell + 2nd Gig You could throw in Sailor Moon or something to give it a little more variety but thats how I'd want to see it atleast

It's not just about you Caster, its about the kids coming home from school we need to indoctrinate *start evil laugh* ... ... ... ... ... *end evil laugh* Anyway, I'd go with something like:
4:00 - Naruto or One Piece 4:30 - Sailor Moon or other Shoujo-centric series 5:00 - Dragon Ball (and Z, and GT) 5:30 - Non - UC Gundam shows (Wing, Seed, G, etc.) | Non-anime programming | 11:00 - Ghost in the Shell SAC 11:30 - Naruto or One Piece (whichever is not during the day) 12:00 AM - UC based Gundam Shows (Gundam, Zeta, etc.) 12:30 AM - Giant Mech shows (Big O, Aquarion, Gurren Lagann, etc.) 1:00 AM - Sailor Moon or other Shoujo-centric series (not the same as afternoon show) 1:30 AM - Gosick and other odd genre shows (mystery, romance, etc.) On Fridays, this schedule is altered. In the afternoon time slot, a movie is shown instead of the varying series. In night time slot, shows that only have 13 episodes can be shown once a week (like Angel Beats or Madoka) allowing CN to still show those series without the replay issues that come with showing something everyday. And that is my idea for bringing anime to the the US on CN again.

If I was really in charge, I'd bow out and let folk who knew about modern cartoons take over because my block would probably crash and fail unless it aired on some Nick at Nite retro Cartoon Network spin-off channel.
Toonami Block on every weekday: 3:00pm & 3:30... Disney Mixer that show two different shows each day and never the same show on to consecutive days. They would pull from: Duck Tales, Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck, and Goof Troop. 4:00 & 4:30... Fox Kids/Warner Mixer same as Disney but the shows to pick from are Eek the Cat, Bobby's World, Eek the Cat Spin-offs, Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs, Pinky & the Brain, Freakazoid. Since all of these are shows with mini segments, I'd slice them up and just throw a bunch of them into an hour long block. 5:00... Samurai Pizza Cats 5:30... TMNT 6:00 & 6:30... The Bruce Timm & Paul Dini Show 5pm is always one of the 50 billion Batman shows they did, 5:30 is an episode of Superman or Justice League. 7:00... East vs West Eastern Division - Naruto & Bleach alternate Each day 7:30... [b]East vs West[b] Western Division - X-men (Fox Kids) and Spider-Man (Fox Kids) go back and forth Mon-Thur, Friday is a special show of either Silver Surfer (Fox Kids) or X-Men Evolution (WB) 8:00... *Insert 5 high profile mildly violent current CN show that air once a week* 8:30... *same as the last one* That's my line-up. Pretty light on anime. I'd be much better at making a two hour Midnight Run segment.

Actually, I'd include Card Captor Sakura...not the godawful dubbed version either.
There's no editing that would be needed to protect the kiddies and the pearl clutchers. ======= |

I don't know how it works in the US but is it uncut at night, I mean totally uncut, or have the fanatical freaks gone there as well? Assuming it is uncut at night:
9:00: Naruto / Bleach / One Piece (Alternate between the three big ones) 9:30 - Card Captor Sakura 10:00 - Sailor Moon 10:30 - Some Gundam 11:00 - Code Geass 11:30 - Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex 12:00 - Madoka Magika (Follow up with other hit titles) 12:30 - Dedicated to more recent shows 1:00 - Black Blood Brothers (follow up with other vampire or supernatural themed shows) 1:30 - B Gata H Kei (Follow up with other more risque shows) I liked the original Gundam series but to put show's from the 80s for the kids to watch, yeah like that'd make some impressive viewership. Only the more recent Gundam shows will attrack kids to watch them whether they be UC or not (so if you were thinking Mobile Suit Gundam or Zeta then forget it), otherwise the audience will be composed of people who appreciate the older shows, usually older fans. What you call the good stuff kids (and by that I mean kids, not teenagers) call crap.
