FUNi licenses Shangri-La; Aniplex licenses Bakemonogatari + 2 re-releases

Both were announced at Sakura-con today.

Shangri-La (via FUNimation)

Bakemonogatari (via Aniplex of America)

Aniplex also announced that they will be re-releasing Garden of Sinners and Oriemo on DVD. (link)

By the way, concerning the re-releases, are Aniplex known for including dubs in re-release that sold well or is that entirely out of the question?

I would have liked to buy The Garden of Sinners; however, the last time it was released it was really expensive and I doubt they will lower the price. As far as the other series goes, they don’t sound appealing at all.

They've never re-released anything before, so that's a bit of an unknown. Seeing as Garden of Sinners and Oreimo were never dubbed in the first place, I'd say these re-releases having dubs is highly unlikely. We'll know for sure once the solicitations go out.

I missed the boat on the Garden of Sinners BD but I may pick up the DVD.

I don't think I made it past 5 episodes of Shangri-La back when it was first streaming so that's an easy pass.
