Quoting in PB&G

Is it just me, or is anyone else having a problem using the quote functionality in the PB&G forum? Whenever I quote or multi-quote a post, it never shows up on the Post Reply screen.

Lol, I thought my computer was acting up but it's not just me then.

Also, no matter what you post the only thing you see on the main forum page is the latest post of the RPG section, it's like the PB&G's been cut off.

Edit: Found a temporary solution; isolate the post, copy it's number from the web address and then quote it manually.

I didn't have any problems this morning (6am) when I quoted and posted. Mine worked just fine.

Ok... I know we all bypass the censor, but I think that's a little much there AD. This is a family friendly site.

And where is PB&G? I really hope this is a fix to the quoting issue.

Maybe we should have been more specific in what we wanted them to do to fix the quoting issue.

If PB&G is gone, it's probably for a reason, but it was a lively and enjoyable part of the forum. In fact, it was probably the place I spent the most time on the forum since some of the other sections started dying down. I'd be sad to see it go.

I'm sure it's a hiccup, rather than a major change to the site. No warning about it came from above and, while the PB&G threads don't have very much to lose, the mods would have at least warned the RPG Section to back up any and all of their relevant information before taking it down.

I know a lot of the RPers work very hard to keep their community running and it would just be a matter of courtesy to tell them beforehand.

They know how much we love our PB&G. They wouldn't do this without a warning.

I'm not sure exactly what happened and we're working on a way to get it resolved. It appears that the PB&G forum's database entry is missing, all of the threads and posts are still in the database, it's just the entry for the forum itself that has vanished. I tried creating an entry for it manually but it didn't hook up to the content. We're trying to have the table rolled back now, we'll see if that does the trick. Last time this happened we ended up having to roll the whole forum back a couple of days...
