Latest Recommendation Thread

So I'm wandering if anyone can list me some good shows that features revolutions, war and an oppressive higher class. Here a few I saw that were good:
-Code Geass (All the above points)
-Romeo X Juliet (Check on rebellion and the higher class)
-Samurai 7 (Check on all counts)
-Scrapped Princess (Revolution)
-Chrono Crusade (More farfetched but technically it's a revolution against

So basically these are some shows to take in as guidelines.

The Third (oppressive ruling class, not so much war as post apocalyptic resulting from war)
Pumpkin Scissors
Last Exile
Xam'd Lost Memories

Try Gankutsuou. Lovely animation and a classic story that should meet your needs...

Le Chevalier D'eon (centers on events leading to the French Revolution)
Trinity Blood (similar to Chrono Crusade)
Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood (focuses more on revolution/coup theme than the first series)
Now & Then, Here & There

So far I had already seen:
-Last Exile (Very good)
-Gankutsuou (Also a great show)
-Le Chevalier D'Eon (Pretty meh)
-Trinity Blood (Once it stopped copying Hellsing, Equilibrium, Chrono Crusade and I don't know how much more it got good, I'd say around half way through the show)
-Now and Then, Here and There
-Crest of the Stars (It was good, but not the best)
-Banner of the Stars
-Berserk (Ah great show, fine example for the thread too)
-Glass Fleet (Little weird at parts, still can't believe it got a PG rating in the states )

Of those I haven't seen I put:
-The Third
-Xam'd Lost Memories
-Avenger
...on my plan to watch list.

I already bought:
-Pumpkin Scissors (Actually thought of making this thread after seeing the trailer for this one )
-Gundam (Bought what was available dubbed, though only the series, no OVAs or movies)
-Fushigi Yuugi (Been sitting on my shelf for some time now, don't know when I'll watch it)

That's pretty much it for now.
