Just saw episode 8... Things are starting to happen.... and dammit I want Mako and Korra to get together.
Flashback at the end showed Sokka, Toph, and Aang... can't wait to see how it all turns out. I wanna know the full meaning of these flashbacks. And I wanna know what happened to Sokka and Zuko. We haven't heard anything about the 2 of them.

After being in media blackout for this series, I finally decided to marathon the first 8 episodes yesterday and I love it!
Other than the animation looking more refined and mature and the fight scenes being way better (which is unreal to say, since I thought the first series had some of the best fight scenes in all of animation and otherwise), I wasn't really feeling the first 2 episodes, but episode 3 is where it clicked for me and I gotta say, I think I actually like this, or at least have the strong potential to, like this series a lot more than The Last Airbender. Also, Toph was my favorite character in TLA and her daughter seems to be amply following in her footsteps. |

SPOILER! (highlight to read):
Great episode. Torlac is a blood bender huh? Interesting. I am wondering if he's the main villain instead of Amon. Speaking of Amon, I saw a pretty good hoax just now regarding Amon. Click only if you want to see it https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net...72791070_n.jpg

SPOILER! (highlight to read):
Just saw the latest episode. Got to see Toph, Sokka, and Aang as adults through flashbacks. Tarlac got his bending powers taken away by Amon and was taken after his defeat. In two weeks, the season finale will be shown. There are running rumors about an Airbender being Amon or that it's really Avatar Aang. But that's highly unlikely due to the fact that Korra is the reincarnation of Aang.

Mr. Nutmeg thinks Amon might be
Flashbacks/meditation scenes were great.... and Mako's concern for Korra... more than friends. Sorry Asami. Can't believe we have to wait 2 weeks for the season finale.... at least it will be an hour long.

They said at the end of Episode 9 that there wouldn't be an episode this week, and that the season finale would be an hour long on June 23....
EDIT: Just looked on wiki... Episode 10 did come out this week... Next week is the finale with 11 and 12.

Great episode!
SPOILER! (highlight to read):
It seems to me that the siege of Republic City is the beginning and taking it back will be the end game for the series. Also like the fact that Firelord Zuko's heir is named after his dear uncle, Iroh. Wondering if that's his son or his grandson. Can't wait for the one hour special

I knew the UN guy was going the be the Zuko relative we heard about... Loved that his name is Iroh.
Also Tenzen's (sp?) wife had her baby... what a perfect time. "Hey honey! You had a baby! We have to leave... NOW!" I also can't wait for the season finale. It's going to be awesome. Oh.. and more Korra/Mako please!

Just wanted to come in here and say my little sister and I have both been keeping up with this show and love it! I really really enjoyed the first series despite my ups and downs on the quality of the writing, but overall I look back on and say "Yeah that was something worth watching".
I really am anxious to see how they are going to end this season! The freaking Zuko-ling relative commanding that big *** army! Cool cool stuff... |

Well, this show has certainly gotten a lot better. We finally got to see some epic bending (just none from the avatar really...), and some nice twists.
Poor The whole love triangle thing is kind of annoying really, but I guess there was no getting around it...the heroine gotsta be with the dbag pretty boy, anime should have taught me this a long time ago ![]() Something interesting i noticed, there seems to be a way to negate bloodbending, as we seen avatar state aang and amon do this (the latter seemingly by force of will).

I believe that Korra will find a way to "heal" those who have lost their bending. Amon's technique is different from when Aang did it to the Fire Lord.
