That announcement was a mistake. It's not airing till summer.

It's a masterpiece. Of course it is. I directed, wrote, and stared in this anime so it's immediately an Oscar winner, and worthy of the Palme d'Or.

Movies

Both Gothicmade and Deva Zan sound interesting. Gothicmade was created by the guy who did Five Star Stories and I really liked what I saw of that. It's too bad the manga never made it over. Deva Zan is a Yoshitaka Amano project (Final Fantasy illustrator and character designer for a number of anime (Angel's Egg, Gatchaman, Vampire Hunter D and so on)). Seems like he's been working on it for a really long time.

Sakamichi no Apollon, Tasogare Otome x Amnesia, Uchuu Kyoudai and Medaka Box (finally an Anime!) are the ones I will watch for sure along with Gokujyo.

I will probably give Shinning Hearts, Queen's Blade: Rebellion, and Saki 2 a go as well.

Sakamichi no Apollon is the one that I have the biggest hopes for considering it's pedigree. Shinichirō Watanabe and Yoko Kanno to working together again in a series has been long awaited and I'm a big fan of the subject that it will focus on (Jazz).
