Signatures and you, some changes

There have been some changes to signatures.

They're now set in the admin panel to be no longer than 6 lines in length, tho that may not prevent lines with large text.

The rule is signatures should be no taller than 6 lines of text, that includes empty space or space taken up by larger fonts. Also, fonts cannot be larger than size+2.

The quote tag has now been disabled, to prevent tags from taking up a ton of space in signatures, and from distracting from threads. It's obnoxious to scroll through a thread to see tons of quote blocks over and over again.

If you have quote tags ([QUOTE]) in your signature, please remove them promptly.

Your signature should be no longer than the example below: (as a reference, my signature is 4 lines tall, at normal font size)

This is line 1 of text at normal size
This is line 2 of text at normal size
This is line 3 of text at normal size
This is line 4 of text at normal size
This is line 5 of text at normal size
This is line 6 of text at normal size

Those forums are literally the worst thing ever.

Sucks that we can't use quotes but I can see why. Katie you could still have the quote in there, just not in a quote box.

Do you mean "size=2" or "size=4" (2+2) (since "size=2" is normal)?

Yup—I am right up against the 1,000 character limit, and could hardly fit in another line. In the liquid skin on the 1600 × 1200 pixel display I use, it takes up about half the width of the window.
