Practicality? No. Perhaps plausibility. But I don't really care. It's a hypothetical statement. It doesn't have to be plausible, just hypothetically possible.

I'll take nothing in most cases as there's no game made (anymore) that'll have me do that again.

Megaman Legends games are mostly action though, aren't they?

You wouldn't need a translation guide for much more than the basic story... as long there's no big quiz (like there was in one of them, I forget which one...)

The quiz was in the second one.

Legends has a lot of RPG elements so you're walking around talking to NPCs, plus there are many cutscenes, some of them very long. So yeah, you'd need a guide if you plan to follow the story.

The second game was a lot more story-oriented than the first, which was already pretty story heavy. So I would have expected the third to continue the trend.

@Tensh: Yeah, but they do have some resemblance of a story though, as simple as they may be. I don't know, maybe it's just me but that's not an ideal way to ever digest a game no matter how bad I want to play it, unless it's a fighting game (Did the same thing for TvC before it was lisensed) or some sort of game where its story is as minuscule as its paragraph entry on Wiki.

And it was the second game that had the quiz, but that's be easy to solve via faqs. I even think the first game had some sort of quiz at the weather station, but my memory is foggy regarding such.

I'm with ryushe, why would I want to waste my time reading translations for a video game? Doesn't sound like a game I would enjoy.

Best of luck... can't see this working unless it got multiple millions of likes. It probably not even a double digit % of people who liked it on Facebook and would actually put money down to purchase it.

They're banking on Arkham City and Deus Ex: human Revolution. If SE hadn't bought Eidos, they would likely be in bankruptcy proceedings right now.

Video games get longer and longer to design to point is the idea for that game really worth all the money yes or no? Developers need to start thinking about this now and start making smarter decisions on what they are going to make and what not to make because if its going to take 3 years to design the game make it good or don't bother starting at all. One example of a game is FFXIV which did extremely badly for a game and might never come back at all.

I think SE needs to dump all current FF projects that are not 75% complete and start coming up with original IPs so they can start actually making a profit.

SE tried this with Nier, Infinite Undiscovery, and The Last Remnant.. All of these flopped way worse then FFXIV.. I doubt Square Enix will stop pumping out Final Fantasy just because the last two were flops; especially considering FF11 has been one of their most succesful titles and is still making money for them today..

What's been Squares problem is plain and simple.. Their past few games have sucked; very very very very very badly.. Nier was a boring adventure game IMO not deserving of being called a RPG.. Infinite Undiscovery was ok, but it felt extremley dated (still probably their best RPG release this gen IMO.) Last Remnant was shot down by every reviewer because of its frame rate and glitch issues, though i hear its a very fun game to play on the p/c as it's not bogged down with things like that.. FFXIII was decent IMO but still very linear and at times just plain boring.. I don't even need to get into FFXIV which most consider the biggest MMO blunder of all times.

Lets just face it.. Square Enix is not what they used to be.. I agree they need to come with some original IP's; but please atleast make them interesting.

Square Enix is dead beyond repair. Capcom is quickly sliding into that pile of poo as well.
