Demon Kind Daimao is a really good suggestion.

You should consider Love Hina if you haven't seen it, though Negima is by the same person

I also would suggest Rosario+Vampire

and for 1 more older one that is a semi-harem show: Vandread

I'm nearly done watching season 1 of Heaven's Lost Property on Blu-ray and its outstanding. First of all its hilarious and one of the most funny anime I've seen, the animation is amazing with great fanservice. Its got surprising touching characters & story. This is the recent harem that people should see from FUNi, not Rosario+Vampire which was a disappointment to me...

The panty migration had me laughing for days even tho i felt the show was lacking overall (and a bit of a Dears knockoff). Good when it was not being serious.

I think high school of the dead is a harem, guy surrounded by loads of girls, 2 of them interested/hes interested in (its strongly suggested he banged one of them). Sure the teacher and loli arent realistic candidates but neither is kitsune and kuolla su from love hina etc.

I second Heaven's Lost Property. I finished it last week or so and thought it's probably one of my favorite harem shows. I'll pretty much echo what Levon said. It's hilarious. I also actually felt for the characters which usually doesn't happen in harem shows.

I know a lot of people don't like the anime, but I recommend Rosario+Vampire as well. The characters were fun. There's a lot of fanservice which is usually a plus. It had me laughing pretty hard at times, too. Some of the stuff that was in the show shocked me a little because it's a lot more raunchy than I thought it would be. I still laughed but only after thinking in my head "Did I just read/hear that right?". Admittedly, there really is no plot and little character development in the anime, but I thought it was just a fun, turn off your brain and enjoy it kind of show.

I can't go by a harem recommendation thread without recommending Sekirei which is probably my favorite fanservicey harem show. The characters...ummm...proportions are a little ridiculous, but the characters are awesome, quirky, and fun. It has good fanservice, and it seems to have a good plot. There's two seasons so far, and I'm really, really hoping for a season three someday.
