Black Lagoon - o.k. It's over the top, but it's realistic in that it has guns and bombs, not robots and eye beams. Horror Bakemono Gitari Drama Kimi ga Nozomu Eien (Rumbling Hearts) Hentai-ish ( Not real Hentai I dont like it) Elfen Lied Science Fiction action Stelvia Vampire Hellsing Ultimate Magic / Power Slayers Movie Lupin III: Cagliostro Castle - I never get tired of this movie. Mech Neon Genesis Evangelion Anime to AVOID - Silent Moebius TV, Gasaraki, Shangri-La - These are the three that seemed like they would never end, no mater how much I wanted them to. Arrrgh, they stunk! Bonus: Comedy Maison Ikkoku (Why did some of you put comedies like GTO and Maison Ikkoku in the drama section? Yes, they have drama in them, but...) Magical Girl Card Captor Sakura (Magical Girl is a completely different genre from fantasy magic shows like Slayers, Fairy Tail, ect.)

Monster Horror Devilman/Violence Jack (VJ is technically a continuation) Drama EDIT: Why I put in Blue Gender I have no idea. I change it to Cowboy Bebop. How was I able to forget that? Hentai-ish ( Not real Hentai I don't like it) Um... Cutey Honey? Science Fiction action Darker Than BLACK Vampire Hellsing Ultimate Magic / Power Slayers Movie Project A-Ko Mech Zoids: New Century Zero and Macross 7. I can't decide between the 2. Anime to AVOID - Please! Twins, Ikki Tousen, Gundam SEED, Magnos The Robot, Protectors of Universe, Neon Genesis Evangelion(Original, not movies. I actually think those are, well, not good, but okay) Not that much with Magnos and Protectors of Universe, because they can be put under the "so bad it's good" category. Ghost in the Shell Horror Elfen Lied Drama Clannad, Clannad After Story Hentai-ish Queen's Blade is the first thing that comes to mind  As for my favorite ecchi series, I'd say Strike Witches. I can't think of anything I've seen that I'd label as both realistic and action Horror I've seen gory stuff but I wouldn't label any of it as horror Vampire Shiki Drama Nana or School Days Hentai-ish Kanokon or Sora no Otoshimono Science Fiction action Ghost in the Shell: 2nd Gig Magic / Power Fullmetal Alchemist or Katanagatari Movie Roruni Kenshin Mech Evangelion Despite having seen a lot of anime, I'm not really familiar with most of the genres listed.

This one is hard....maybe....Fullmetal Alchemist? Not really what I call realistic though.... Horror Ghost Hunt. An under appreciated and often overlooked gem. It scared the crap out of me. And no other anime has ever done that. Drama Marmalade Boy Hentai-ish Girls Bravo Science Fiction action Jyu Oh Sei Vampire Nightwalker Magic / Power Sailor Moon Movie Spirited Away Mech I hate mech. The only mech-ish series I like is Kannazuki no Miko Anime to AVOID - Gundam Wing, Excel Saga, Bottle Fairies, FLCL |

Sky Crawlers (Edit: Though of one I liked better - You're Under Arrest!) Horror Pet Shop of Horrors - First thing that came to mind. Haven't seen too many anime that I would classify as horror. Drama Brother, Dear Brother - The majority of the female cast are loonies, but I love them for it. Hentai-ish ( Not real Hentai I dont like it) Queen's Blade Science Fiction action Noein Vampire Blood+ - Just like with horror, I haven't seen too many of these. Magic / Power Sailor Moon - My absolute favorite. Movie Paprika Mech Escaflowne - One of the first series I ever saw and I still love it to this day. Bonus: Sports Fighting Spirit - I'm not into sports in real life, but I just love this show. Would fit under drama as well. Anime to AVOID - Sister Princess, Reign the Conquerer, Tristia of the Deep Blue Sea, Nazca, Seraphim Call, Virus Buster Serge
