My friends site for the game "Brink" ran on a more modern version of this I believe. Whether it was the 4.X series I don't know. I remember when I saw these forums, they looked very similar to the ones they ran. OF course, my friends sites been pulled down because Brink wasn't successfull.

That seemed to work fine however, so judging by the feedback on the 4.X series on this thread, I assume it musn't have been that.

What about http://www.mybb.com/? Friction Games forum uses it and it works great with my computer and smart phone ^^
