I love how he talks about being horrified and cutting off the video game, yet during the entire interview Zoe is playing Portal 2.

Clearly the father didn't get the subtle humor in the game, as the robots are trying to find ways to bully to protagonist, only they're not finding much to go on.

"You're adopted" type jokes are all over the place, from movies to Xbox live game chat.

I love how the news crew says they went to Sony to get this issue resolved cause they're "the distributer for Portal 2." Was there not a single person in the studio who's played the game that could have said, "um, the PS3 was only one of the platforms, we should talk to Valve."

That would have been letting good sense get in the way of a "good" story. You probably get fired for that there.

Ok, I'm not far into Portal 2 but unless I'm very much mistaken it's about a woman stuck in a testing facility that belonged to a bunch of mad scientist with a murderous computer that's trying to murder her, right?

Do you really want us to tell you about the game? Stop reading message boards and go finish it, it's no wonder you've made it this far without any spoilers.

As for the rating, in the US we have E 10+. What this means is the game doesn't have any questionable content that a child couldn't see, but children under 10 may not be able to handle the game mechanics or get the concepts of the game.

Oddly enough, the ESRB page about Portal 2 doesn't mention the fat or adopted jokes, and it seems like they would.

I'm already intimately familiar with Portal (and at this point so are people living on the top of mountains who've never been within 25 miles of a microchip let alone the game itself) although I've never played Half Life and I understand the two are connected.
