Significant events (launching of a new title, a particular character death or introduction, etc) often make a difference when it comes to comic book rarity. When it comes to the pureness of ores or clarity of gemstones, obviously better = rarer and thus works similarly, I suppose.

Action Comics #1 is more valuable because it's the first issue. Amazing Spider-man #298 is the first appearance of Venom. Ores are refined. 14k gold has a set content. 75% gold. Cut is a major factor in the price of gemstones. Cut, color, clarity, carat weight are all factors. That's not really important though.

What rhetorical tactic do you dislike most and why?

Can't say, frankly. I don't study specific techniques. I just...I dunno.

Dunno, only read 2-3 books of it. Supergirl and Batgirl are okay, Batwoman is good. Nothing else touched atm.

Good question, I would say Batwoman. The design is visually striking, and resembles Batman's design while simultaneously screaming "we're not related gaiz". Batgirl's design is pretty much same as always, and I was never too big on the yellow. Supergirl's is nice but something feels a bit off about it. Haven't seen much of the others.

Staff of lightning. If fiction has taught me anything, going at them blood knight style with the mace will make the heroic sacrifice, the katana will be useless and thus it will be hero's last stand, and the arrows will prove ineffective unless enchanted and thus I wait to die. Plus the staff can be used for magic or melee.

Maybe it's the thigh high boots that aren't quite thigh high boots. Damned odd, like whoever designed that costume went too far in making it different and made it weird instead.

Ummm! Probably the trip I once took to HellBoise, Idaho. 5+ hours with connecting flights.

I like the boots, actually! But yeah, they're weird.

I once slept in till 6PM, but it was because I didn't go to sleep one night and was violently ill because of it. I felt awful.
