Don't know if it counts, but the armor suit from GitS is a pretty neat mech.

Well, that's about it. I don't watch much mecha, so don't have many favorites..

Technically, that's Guren S.E.I.T.E.N.

Geass designs are great, though. There's very few that look bad.

They are fugly, like the gibbon mechs from Eureka 7 were crossbread with an Evangelion.

So far as favorite non-gundam mechs definitely most of the ones from Fangs of the Sun Dougram and Macross. This is mostly because they were stolen by FASA and put in a game.

Bahhh. E7 mecha are ugly as all hell, but I like the Geass ones. Well, more accurately, I like most of the Geass ones. There's certainly some butt ugly ones involved. But really, you'd say Lancelot, Guren, or Shinkirou are ugly?

Eureka 7 mecha have surf boards.
Code Geass mecha have backbacks.

Personally I'm not into these type of designs.

Anything from Macross, but in particular the VF-1 Valkyrie designs from Macross: Do You Remember Love.

It's a transforming mecha with economical design. I love that.

Obviously Lancelot Albion is the One Mech to Rule Them All, but I like this one cuz it's so unconventional

Gundam purists may complain about Mobile Suit Gundam Wing but I always thought they had some of the best non-Gundam mecha designs ever.

The Katoki-designed grunt units in Wing were god tier. Pretty much everyone who's seen Wing agrees the grunts were amazing.
