Yeah it dosn't look too bad.. If you like the color purple then its defiantly a good choice I still think the Cosmo Black and Flame Red are the best looking ones though..

The aqua blue (the one I own) is probably my least favorite tbh.. I'd actually take a pink or purple one over the current one I have.. But it was either aqua blue or a parental locked cosmo black when it came to choseing my used 3DS

edit: Whoa.. nvm the cosmo black OoT special edition is indeed the sexiest.. I also saw a black snake skin 3DS on google images It says its a special Solid Snake edition but idk.. Looks pretty sweet though.

I have the blue one too, it seems to be the most common, my brother and two of his friends have it too.

In other news: ARGH why is Nintendo lame as hell and made the GBA virtual console games limited to some ambassador thing, since I didnt buy my 3DS soon enough I cant play Kirby and the Amazing Mirror on it

The ambassador program was meant as a peace offering to early adopters who watched the price drop by $80 no more than six months after buying it.

I guess Nintendo could've did that, but If they did, I'd feel less elite, ya' know?

Gotta' make us Ambassador's feel special.

Seriously though, it's not all that it's cracked up to be. The emulation slightly sucks and neither of the games are sleep mode enabled.

What's wrong the with emulation? I only put time into Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones - and I didn't really notice anything off there.

I never noticed until now that the GBA titles won't sleep with the system. I assume that Nintendo will release these titles to the e-store eventually. They already started to release the NES titles to the e-store for anyone to buy. As that happens, I expect the emulation to improve too. Just like they eventually added save states to the GB/C titles to match the store titles.

I also hope we get some more GBA games since cartridges just won't last forever. It's the only 'official' way to play these titles, in the future...

Specifically with regards to Kirby, I've noticed a few minor framerate drops. I don't know if there is anything other than that which is a problem with these games on 3DS.

The color for most of the titles - Minish Cap and Yoshi's Island especially - are significantly more dull/darker than it's true GBA counterparts, some framerate issues like Soluzar already mention (Only really noticed it in F-Zero), no option to change button layouts, resize the games or any screen filtering of any sort. I mean, it's serviceable at the very least, especially if you don't have another option (as well as we technically received each game for free) but other than that, It's just a poor mans emulation through and through.

It's nice to have, but I'd much prefer to play each of those games on my PSPgo as they look and play much better, as well as have a myriad of options to tweak to my liking, but then again, not everyone has that choice.

PSPgo = not official emulator = doesn't matter, not official, can't and shouldn't be used as a basis for comparison.

Now, compared to the official PSone emulation in Sony consoles, it has a significant lack of choices and such, so I'll agree in that regard.

I didn't say it did or should matter, though.

*flails!!!*

Fair enough.

I don't disagree though. I compared it with my GBA and DS Lite. GBA and Lite are identical (mostly because the hardware is identical, lol). Compared with the Lite the colors look a bit washed out and the gradients a bit paler to my eyes in most of the GBA VC games. I don't own them all in hard copy form so I can't exactly say much beyond this applying to Mario Kart and Yoshi's Island. The lack of options is the issue that bugs me. I'd like to tweak color settings and stuff if nothing else.

Is this the same as the one you can just buy on the e-store? I played that, it's OK. I don't know about anyone else but I never seem to rack up a lot of credit on Club Nintendo or the older Star Catalog - partly 'cause of my habit of buying Nintendo games used.

On the other hand, tenshi_a built up a big pile of credit once upon a time... only to be told that it was expiring because Nintendo don't approve of you saving until something good comes along.

The very same - the only catch now is you can use your Club Nintendo coins instead of using real money. Honestly though, I think it's cheaper to use real money than your points only because the value preposition Club Nintendo points hold, especially since you need to purchase at least 3-4 games -- new -- in order to even get 150 coins. But then again, I guess 150 messily coins sound better than using real money.

Also same here, I have little under 2000 coins now, but that's only because I honestly forgot the login information for my old account. Don't remember how much coins I was sitting on with that account, but it was a nice amount.

As for the game, I wanna try it out, but I'm not really a fan of puzzle games that aren't named Pushmo.
