My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

Well, we dont have a thread on this, and since there are a few people in the group, I thought I would start one.
MLP:FiM. It is a new Cartoon from Lauren Faust (Powerpuff girls, and Foster's Home). It is not like the others at all.
The basic story line is all explained in the first episodes. But it is pretty hard to really describe what the show is like.
It isnt like the old ones (which I have never seen) at all, and are quite fun to watch. It is funny, lots of good gags, and good characters.
So just go give it a chance.

I am a fan of the My Little Pony 1980’s cartoon and the new one My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. MLP: FiM is not like the original series at all; however, it is really good and has a lot of humor. Personally, I thought I was going to hate MLP:FiM because it is by the same people that made the Powerpuff Girls (which I hated by the way) however, I was really, really wrong! I can’t wait until this series comes out on DVD!

My parents are gonna give me odd looks when I ask them to get me the MLP: FiM on DVD for my birthday when it releases.

IF it releases. It is on The Hub, a Discovery owned SAT TV channel. The show was made to sell toys as well (although the toys look nothing like them).
I really hope that it can get transfered to a more major network like Nick, or CN. At least it will get more views then.
Discovery is a pretty bad company overall, and not many people watch Sat (even then...with ALL those channels to choose from)
A saturday morning showing would be ideal, not at noon on a weekday.

What is cool is that the creator has actually talked with and answered fans questions on /co/ and on her deviantart.

I stopped watching Cartoons when Cartoon Network started to loose my interests.

Now I feel weird watching them.

Yeah I did, but even that now it's like, why am I watching this?

I got more into the comedy horribly animated stuff from Adult Swim Like: Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Venture Bros, and Sea Lab 2020.

Not that Venture Bros is ****** animation, but it's comedy is what I'm getting at.

And of course Anime is always good.
