And finally...

Olivier: Stephanie Young

Thoughts: The only thoughts in my head right now:

1) Nappa as Buccaneer. That's just too perfect.
2) Stephanie Young's a good choice; I remember her as Benio from Ouran
3) Miles as played by... the guy in my avatar, Chiyo-chan's dad. O_O

Just got done watching Part 3. Stephanie Young is really great as Olivier.

Patrick Seitz's Sloth is so dead on

Jason Douglas as Miles was really cool.

Oh, and Brittney Karbowski is very creepy as Pride.

I watched most of Part 3 Blu-ray on Christmas.

I thought the voice for Miles was one of the nicest surprises of the set. I heard Stephanie Young in a couple of other roles and knew she would be a great fit for Olivier, however the only point of reference I had for Jason Douglas was as the voice of Chiyo-chan's father in Azumanga Daioh. Douglas played Miles with such a cool, confident, yet authoritative voice which was perfect for the character.

The distortion done on Pride was very different this time around than it was in episode 24. It sounds a lot less like Selim. I wish they'd done it this way earlier, as I know a couple of people who caught that Selim was Pride just based on the voice.

I've heard a great deal of roles from him over the years, he is a classic VA at ADV since the late 90's.

My favorite is his Kanzaki from Area 88, a perfect fit for that sly devil.

About Selim, I'm very used to hearing Brittney Karbowski & shes got a distinct voice so it was very obvious during that scene with Wrath that it was Selim talking to him. So it was easy to tell he wasn't just a mere child. I do wonder if they tried to hide it more in the Japanese so you couldn't tell if it was Selim. Oh well, its not like the show was trying hard to keep it a secret for a long time and reveal it only at the end.

I've got my copies on the way. Pretty psyched to finally hear the rest of the dubs and not have to wait until Jan 8th.
