I usually don't dis on other religions. I myself am Pagan but the Catholic religion has some serious problems.

But I don’t believe that arresting the Pope will accomplish a thing. War most likely and there are too many wars (past and present) being fought in the name of one god or another.

If there is a war who do you blame? Pope don't go to Brittain if you are in violation of their laws. What, now you can't stand against Catholicism without there being a war? That jsut proves how tyranical the whole arangement is.

Bwuh? Your rantings are getting less and less coherent.

I think it would only be appropriate to finally see the pope in jail. You disappoint the hell out of me. I also don't get thinkers that think it's best to try not to influence the beliefs of others. Lame.
Well, I think both you and Dawkins should shut up and keep to yourselves. Thinkers think creatively; pompous elitists try to impose their own beliefs on others.

Wow... and Paganism doesn't?

There really hasn't been what most people consider pagans since the Livonians converted in the 14th century, but yeah they were not very nice.

These days it's all neo-paganism and wicca for the cool power metal kids.

Sententious.

Fine, thinkers think creatively, but keep it to yourselves. May the world go to ****(I do not advocate the world going to ****).

I recomend you put me on block.

I am not trying to convert anyone to atheism, after all.

Nobody would think you're trying to convert them to atheism. You've already made it obvious in more than one thread that you're some kind of wannabe (come on, the religions you're emulating based on secondhand knowledge at best have been dead for centuries,) prmitive dirt-worshipper.

Because god definitely made the world flood for 40 days and 40 nights, with every animal in the world by twos on a single large boat made by a man and a few other people.

The real story is more interesting, and yes it does involve natural geography.

Well that's kind of a different story, but the bible had to be written so people who lived at the time woudl understand. For example if Genesis opened with a textbook size description of how various minerals in space were clumped together via gravity and man emerged from the primoridal ooze, it would have been a lot for the Catholic Monks to transcribe na mean?
