Ch 382 Spoilers are a no-brainer
So the first few pages are all about reiatsu.... Ichigo's and the replenishing of his reiatsu...
Then things get interesting. It's not enough that Kenpachi and Byakuya are fighting in the anime... now they are fighting here too... but with each other not against each other. I'm still waiting for more Kyoraku...

--- So I'm confused though; didn't Ichigo heal himself? My poor Ishida is probaly at death's door by now.

Ichigo's reiatsu should be at another level. If not, the power tier wouldn't be just a little broken. They already nerfed arrancar and espada classes for captain class but ichigo's should be among the top at this point

I don't get it, do you guys READ the chapters? The stuff you always have questions about is usually explained in the chapter itself. Not meant to be a knock against you or anything, just saying. >_>
Ichigo was healed by Orihime, but, as he explains, it didn't repair his clothing. His bankai version of the shihakushou (shinigami uniform) is different in that it actually serves to indicate his power level, basically, in terms of how much reiatsu he has left. Since he has captain-class at the moment and only an arm's worth of clothing, clearly his reiatsu at full is so far off the scale it's not funny. This was a relatively uneventful chapter, but I still liked it; unlike the previous, which seemed boring and contrived, this served to emphasize that Ichigo is the "chosen one" not just because of his current immunity to Aizen's hypnosis, but also his insane power level (whether or not he can use it is something else entirely), which hasn't really been touched on very much since during Soul Society. It also should be mentioned that thus far, only Ichigo and Kenpachi have been mentioned for their reiatsu in particular; those two are also (unless memory fails me and Yachiru did too at one point) the only ones who have displayed battle auras thus far (Ichigo's was his Hollow mask and Kenpachi's was a skull). |

Yammy's fighting style is so boring he might as well be a menos but I liked this chapter more than the last few... a lot more dialogue. I guess there is little point in clinging to the hope that unohana will end up fighting as she would probably be busy tending to Hiyori unless that too was an illusion by Aizen.

I'm pretty lost on the power levels now.
He's only got like 1/3 of his shirt (the manga says half but i'm sorry, one sleeve isn't half a shirt) but he's still a captain level fighter. If he had a full shirt, would that make him a double captain level fighter... who can then go even stronger with his hollow abilities? Why are the Vaizard even breaking a sweat? Some of them actually were captains before they turned Hollow and they've been training with Hollow masks for a much longer time period than Ichigo has. All of this makes Ulquiorra and Grimmjaw really stand out as super strong fighters. For a while, they were at least able to hold their own against a guy with 2X+ Captain level fighting ability when he was maximum strength. All the other Espada/Arrancar pretty much got insta-killed as soon as a shikai or bankai entered into the equation.

Ichigo has at least 2x (normal) Captain Level power, Kenpachi probably has as much if not more raw power then Ichigo.
But, like Kenpachi, Ichigo is "Raw" he can't really get as much (at this point) out of his power as other captains can. it draws many similarities to "Naruto" in that respect, Naruto is clearly the strongest character in terms of power reserves. but he doesn't know how to use it or control it. all the power in the world doesn't make Ichigo a more adept fighter then say Byakuya... I don't know how powerful Byakuya is for example, he could have a "Weak" power level but still be as strong as someone who has 2x more power then him because of his skill at using what he has.

Another interesting thing, obviously we all knew Orihime's healing was different then normal Kido healing....like Captian Moms, but we didn't know exactly how or why etc etc ... no specifics really.
Kido Healing, apparently, heals the victims reiatsu first to allow the victims reitsu to work with the healers to heal the physical wounds. Orhime can actually CHOOSE what goes first apparently, and apparently restoring reiatsu takes "longer" so she choose to heal Ichigo's physical wounds first and then to start healing his reiatsu. just interesting details on the different ways healing works from Kido to Orhime's crap. (I don't know what to call her power I suppose you can call it God-hax)

i thought she literally turned time back in the space that she is "healing", and that's why aizen needed her for the arrancar-machine.
