Tales of Mana

In world of Mana there exist a trial/tournament that takes place once every 200 years the prize for the victor or victors of this trial is glory of being the greatest warrior and also the victor is granted a wish of anything the heart of victor desires most. The trial is hard many do not survive to the finals.
The Trial begins soon in Vur (capital city of Mana) Creatures and people of different races gather in Vur to partake in the trial Some are doing for the glory some or doing it for the wish their desires and wishes unknown. The Trial start today.

The Rules:
1) God modding- Don't do it nuff said however there are some cases of character interaction that may seem like Godmodding but I will allow that can be worked out if it ever arises. In combat take the enemy's build and powers into account. If say a 7' Warrior with a Giant Axe hits a 5'8" mage armed with a staff he can very easily overpower the Mage and hit him. However the target will then be given to roll with the attack or recover and counter. Otherwise no insta killing.
2) Keep the lovin at PG-16 people.
3) You may create up to two 'Living' Characters (Living including the undead and those who havn't disapeared never to return).
4) Write in past tense 3rd person, no use of *etc.
5) Give decent sized posts
8) Be nice to other players.
9) No God like or Invincible characters.
10)All your base are belong to us!
11) Set in Medevil time so No guns.

Name: Vera Stella Strauss

Race: Dragon

age: looks 23 but really is 200 years old

weapons and powers: Human: a Shamsir sword (the blade is made from one of her own fangs), some magic, can control fire.
Dragon: claws, fangs, tail, can control fire and has fire breath, lightening, healing abilties and some magic.
She can use some of her dragon powers in her human form.

Human form (when shes human she human): long Blonde hair, blue eyes 5'4, 120. Wiry frame. Usually wears a blue tunic with kiki color pants, leather boots, leather gamlets, Very attractive
Dragon form: White Dragon, She has a long tail with feathery tip. She is a mix between a Lang and European dragon she has a slender body with big elegent wings, she has an elegant, slender, kind looking face with deer like antlers ontop of her head.

Personality: Confident, easy going, will help others without being asked. She pretty much keeps to herself. She adheres to notions of duty, courtesy and compasion. She will not transform into her dragon form unless there is not other way, she will hide what she is from people if she can. She does not want to scare people since dragons haven't been seen in near 200 years. Watch out for her temper.

Bio: She was raised by a wizard and was told she was the last of her kind. Vera believes different.She has transformed herself into a human to protect herself from hunters. She will only transform into her dragon form if needed. Vera enters the trial knowing survival is slim.

Wish: To know if she's the last and to find the others.

Age: 170, though he looks around his 20's

Race: Human (Bio explain age)

Appearance: Blood red eyes and dark blue hair. his skin is rather pale. 6'2", slim but toned body type.

weapon and powers: Black Bladed Katana, some magic, mostly (but not all) lightning.

Wish for end of trial: To be released of his burden

Growth: Shadow Nova (to be used only once during the whole tournament). The only magic attack that isn't lightning based, Although at a heavy price. Shiro will use it once he is about to lose control of himself.

Personality: A loner. Doesn't know how to interact with other people, though he doesn't necessarily dislike it. Usually keeps to himself and has difficulty forming new friendships and opening up. Mostly because he believes he will eventually hurt them.

Bio: Shiro's home, along with his village, burned to the ground when he was young. Being the only survivor left him scarred, but it was only after a few years that he found out why he survived. He holds within his body, a demon that was sealed into him by a powerfull wizard. The plan backfired and only Shiro survived. He doesn't remember much, if anything of that night, but hes been wandering the world ever since. It was when he heard about the prize of the tournament that he decided to fight. Even if chances are slim, one way or another he would be rid of his burden.

Description: Usually wears a black cloak when not fighting or asleep. Under the cloak he wears black leather Vambraces, single gauntlet on his right hand, greaves and a Gorget & Pauldrons. Uses no body Armour (chest) due to mobility issues.

Abilities: Dark Magic
Weapon of Choice: Morodrym, the Black Blade (a broadsword)
Wish: To be truly immortal (i.e. invulnerable to harm as well as endless lifespan), so he can conquer the entire world.

Bio: Lord Derek Thorn is one of the most feared and despised tyrants in all of the world. There are few who even approach his power, much less equal it. He wields the power of Dark Magic, a power which can range from temporarily blinding an opponent, to shattering their bodies and plunging their souls into the depths of the Void. He can create a globe of darkness around him for defense, or cloak the entire world in shadow, causing temperatures to plunge and crops to wither.

His sword is one he forged himself, blending the power of steel and Dark Magic. So formed the Black Blade, Morodrym. With but a single word, "Nightfall," any opponent struck by the blade is blinded for hours, if they're not killed outright by the eternally sharp broadsword.

Age: 1957 (appears in her 30's)
Race: Sylph - a race of those who look like beautiful humans with wings, but live for eons and can morph into air. They can not stay in one form for more than two days straight, for fear of being permanently stuck in said form
Appearance: Fleur stands tall, straight and proud, with an angular face and hawk-like grey eyes. Her hair is straight and blonde, and falls down to her midback. Her wings, being her most distinctive feature, resemble those of angels. When she morphs into air, she takes the appearance of a cloud.

Wish for end of trial: To see her long lost love again
Growth: N/A
Personality: Fleur is flighty and nervous, but loyal to a T. She is incredibly trustworthy, yet, however, she will not trust others with deep personal secrets. Along with the rest of her race, Fleur realizes the pain of death, seeing several of her close friends die while she lived on. Finally, she has severe claustrophobia.
Bio: Fleur was born eons ago a sylph, destined to live forever. As the years went by, she watched creatures around her die, and slowly came to the realization that life was a tricky game to play. The real catching point for her came when she fell in love with a human man, close to 400 years ago. When it came time for him to die and her to live on, she was devastated. To this day, she still feels a whole in her heart where Lucien, her love, used to be. When she heard about the trial and its prize, she decided to try, as her greatest wish was to see Lucien again. However, she is still too upset over Lucien's death to really put her whole heart into winning...

If any of you guys can think of any monsters or challenges for going up the mountains go right a head and put it in. I have at least one for when we get to in the mines. I want to push Vera at one point to transform. I know a fight between Vera and Derek is coming in the future. LOL.
