Huge Groove Adventure Rave fan here so Fairy Tail has been a highly anticipated announcement.

Hopefully it won't suffer the same fate and actually goes the distance. Even if filler is what it takes to get the job done. Just keep it going! Man, his art style is becoming more and more like Oda's but that's to be expected. Fall is already looking good and I can't wait.

The cover looked like One-piece and Rave-masters.

Both, imo, are failures.

We've officially surpassed the last Groove Adventure Rave thread. Poor Rave. Fuzzy horribly encoded fansubs, a crappy dub only DVD release and the manga is like three volumes away from completely being out and the dates are up in the air. Hopefully Fairy Tail gets some more love than Rave has received.

Eh, I thought it was a surprise this is getting animated at all. Fairy Tail's scenes just don't mesh well, and the pacing is iffy, which makes for a pretty jerky story if you ask me. One Piece is simply the King here.

Probably won't watch, but it all depends on reviews.

Sweet. I've decided I need to start broadening my anime horizons more, and as well as watching marathons at a time of all these old shows, to start watching some new ones as they air.

The reason I do not like this: I sense another 500+ episode anime with NO end...

It might even undermine the Endless Eight...

Doubt it. It will most likely go about 50 episodes. Satelite doesn't really do those long series.
