All joking aside, this may actually help Square Enix though since they are trying to become like Capcom. If you have noticed, Capcom games are sort of more western taste lately than their PS1 and before days.

I can't really think of any "eastern" Capcom games. They've always been that way as long as I can remember.

I did seriously think that maybe Square Enix would buy up Midway. I mean, they are the remake-and-spinoff company, and that's mostly what Midway have been for a while.

I've seen arcade machines that are full of licensed Taito and Midway games. Since Square Enix bought up Taito and that happened, them buying Midway would have made a lot of sense.

Makes less sense them trying for Eidos, I think.
