So what next for anime on TV in N-A?

4Kids is soon going to be annoucing new acquisitions and it got me thinking what shows are out there that could end up on american TV (not just 4Kids) in the coming year or so?

Yu-gi-oh! 5Ds is already pretty much in the bag for 4Kids, as is the rest of Dinosaur King... however what else is out there in that style?

I can see Soul Eater hitting AS eventually, but not anytime soon.

I don't see anything changing to be honest. Anime isn't as big in ratings though there will always be a small following I suppose, mostly the AS crowd.

Soul Eater would be good for AS. I heard rumors that Buso Rankin and Seirbei no Morito were supposed to come on. Though, maybe now that Death Note is ending soon, maybe they'll bring on something else?

Are you asking just about 4-kids or TV in general. How about Gundam 00? I hear it was licensed but I don't know the details. I could see that getting a TV release, the other Gundam properties have been fairly successful I think.

I'm pretty sure Gundam SEED's bastard child didn't even make it to Cartoon Network, with good reason. The show is already horrible, I bet a bad dub would make it even worse trying to watch it.

I predict Gundam 00 will air on Adult Swim next after Death Note is done.

SEED was aired so messed up on CN it was crazy. For one it was edited much worse than any other Gundam TV series, they should have aired it on AS. I remember someone at CN saying it was a mistake. They won't make the same mistake with Gundam 00, if they plan to air it on CN it will goto Adult Swim.
SEED never even completed on Toonami I don't think, after a while they moved it to 1:00 AM in the morning on Friday(which didn't air Adult Swim then).
And yeah, no Destiny since they failed so badly with airing SEED.

nope its not, they do have a "Kid Friendly" version of the show that airs earlier then a "Adult" version the run later.

I don't know if there is flat out "Nudity" but there is definatly a lot of Fan Service heck there is usually one or two scene's per episode where Maka's Father is literally in a brothel.

SEED got screwed with good reason. (To me it wasnt that good) Naruto was the best thing since DBZ on CN so its no wonder why that happen.

Funny that. I wonder why Seed did so badly and how they even know how well people reacted to it. I mean it should appeal to young people with the pretty characters and flashy battles. The story isn't half bad either. I hope Gundam 00 does well but I'll be happy enough just to get the DVDs.
