Yeah the way the counter is counting down, definitely looks like a new Siren. I actually enjoyed Siren 2 quite a bit, so I wouldn't mind a 3rd one.

The characters must be Americans - I just love how the Japanese stereotype of Americans is that they all swear at least 3 times in every sentence they speak.

Well that's still decent news. I liked Siren 2 better than 1, but I wouldn't mind playing a remake of Siren 1.

Those shibito look pretty freaky. I wonder if I should import this or just wait til it comes stateside. From the flash animation, i'm thinking it might already have a lot of english in it.

Pretty cool, but i don't remember Siren 1 having a bunch of American people in it. Did they switch out the cast completely?

"he"? The entire trailer is full of English speaking people. The guy, the 2 people, the woman and child, etc.

This isn't "just" a remake of Siren 1, however, it takes during the same period as Siren 1 from an American Camera Crew and I assume the original cast is playable as well...though can't be for certain with the given text.

A demo is planned to come out 4/24 (next week)
