New music, if your interested

So I know not a lot of you guys are into this kind of thing, but my favourite band, The Slackers just released a new album called "Self Medication" and I urge anybody to check it out. It's ska, more of a traditional sound, but it's heavy on jazz, calypso, blues, an a lot of other influences. It's a lot more experimental than anything else they have, so if your bored or just looking for new music, check it out, I like spreading the love

Not to jack the thread or anything, but while on the subject of new music, the new Raconteurs album is great. As well as the Born Ruffians debut.

It's cool, the thread title is just about new music anyway heh. I'll have to check them out. And another thing, if anybody is really cool on lyrics, Victor Ruggiero is a poet, he's the lead singer of The Slackers that is.

On the subject of new music: Flight of the Conchords' album comes out the 22nd of this month. pick it up.

So funny story kenshinbebop, I was at work today cleaning and I hear this tune on the radio, and I'm all like, "Well this is pretty rad, I'm gonna check this out when I find out who it is", and it turns out to be the single off the new Raconteurs album, whom I had never heard about till than. I must say it was pretty boss stuff, I'm gonna have to pick up that album.

Werd. Good stuff right? You may or may not have heard their first album, Broken Boy Soldiers. It has Level and Steady As She Goes. It's more rocky in my opinionm, while Consolers of the Lonely is kind of folkish while still being plenty rock.

What's the single, Old Enough?
