I can't stop laughing. This is so funny. It's interesting how some users might believe that mods do things like what the article sugests, however, they do a lot more I am sure. Some things they might take care of are spam bots or enforce rules that really are there.

This is a great quote. While they do ban some people that should be banned. I think its important to moderate modesty in the forums rather than slapping the cuffs on posters.

Ok part of that is just freaky. It mentions a conversation about puppies turning into something about polotics. meanwhile we have a thread connected to both RIGHT NOW.

However, I wonder how it is that all posts made by mods that say they're going to lock a thread sound the same.....anyone care to enlighten us?

Well, because its all the same to us, a thread that either soon/will be deleted. Although we're used to "mod bash" threads. Get them all the time.

Eh, in all reality I don't think modding a forum is a waste of time. I mean I modded my brothers domain for a while and...I still had a life. I actually thought it was quite fun.
