Bleach 156

I watched it last night, it was pretty much 23 minutes of Ishida. It was funny but kind of a let down after the awesomeness of 155. The comedy wasn't too bad, except for the panty jokes = lame.

My husband said the first half was a waste of 10 minutes of his life... nothing really happened... I could have done without the panty jokes but it wasn't a horrible episode. I like that Uryuu uses his head to fight and not just his muscle.

I liked the humor in it, and they really drive home the point that Uryuu is thinking and testing weaknesses and strengths the entire fight.

I think they took Peshe trying to "Protect" Uryuu thing to far, but i did find it funny that he thinks he's the weakest right off the bat.

I actually did like the Panty joke tho, more the reaction of the girl, heh "you didn't peek did you!" in the middle of a fight, also 90% of the humor coming from Nel's friends are always lame humor, but sometimes that stuff can be funny.

and i know about the LS thing cause i read the Manga, I'll just say keep watching to avoid spoilers.

Were all the jokes at the start filler? There were to many jokes in it for me i like a good laugh but when it gets down to fighting the jokes should stop and the killing should start.
Did Ishida have a lightsaber Lol looks cool!

I agree once the fight starts it should get down to business, but i guess i've come to expect a sidebar of jokes, this one mashed "Most" of the jokes in the begining.

this is a "Manga Spoiler" only read it if you want to know where the anime is going in like the next 15 episodes.

I would wait if i were you, or I'd read the Manga's you know they come out every Friday/Sat on Youtube

decent music behind them, i usually wake up Sat morning and put them on while I make and eat Breakfast.

Ive only read a few manga its not really my thing i like my action animated, im looking forward to Chad's fight my friend who reads manga said its quite epic.

Heh, i was definatly against reading manga for a long time, i have a friend at work who reads it each week, he kept coming in and telling me..."man wait for next week wait for next week its gonna be great" so i got bored at work one day and just "watched" like 20 Episodes of Manga on Youtube, since then i've been doing it every week.

anyhow, this whole hueco mundo Arch will get much better in a bit (or should depending on how they animate then Manga's) and there is one LARGE surprise in store.

@Nutmeg: lol at your spoiler. Yeah, it's not a big deal, trust me. That's either a filler episode, much like the old "death of Ulquiorra" thing, or it's just weird phrasing and has nothing to do with anything, really.

I'm pleased with the pacing in Hueco Mundo so far...unfortunately, I've yet to watch 156, so I'll refrain from commenting further until I watch it later tonight.

So I watched it last night, and was repeatedly loling. Normally, I don't laugh much at Bleach's humor (most of the time I find it bland and/or mildly amusing), but this episode was great.

Best Arrancar Encyclopedia ever too.

I'm hoping that female Privaron Espada dies, like real soon. I can't stand her voice or her attitude. I was rather surprised the fight was uninterrupted, no cuts to any of the other characters.
