Only seen the first 4 episodes of H&C so my tentative rating is a 7 and that's mainly thanks to the antics of Morita. I'm sure it gets better later on but not being a fan of Hagu doesn't help this rating.

Honey and Clover is a really well put together series that got better with every passing episode. The second season really put it over the hump for me since it had a more serious tone and accomplished things it set out to do all along. I'd give them a solid 8 for the sake of the thread, but I'd probably give the second season an 8.5.

A 9 for me.
Simply one of the most flawlessly executed animes. That is to say, the story (well, slice-of-life, but you know) was good, the characters were fantastic, the artwork was magnificent, the music was good and their incorporation of it was excellent, all in all it was just extremely well done in every aspect. The only downside though, is that if you need a solid, consistent plot, you might not enjoy it too much. But within the slice-of-life genre, this is one of my favs.

9/10
I was able to relate with Takemoto on a very high scale, especially with his uncertainties. He's the one character that won the series over with me. Mayama and Yamada were also excellent characters. There's always a feel-good sense of melancholia and realism with the series. The ending song for the first season was perfect too. |

Probably about a 7. I didn't like it from the start, but it got a lot better,

I have seen the first 3 episodes only. My rating was 8/10. If I remember correctly, my brother saved the first and second season in his hard drive, so I have to ask him if I want to watch it.
