I'm sitting here on Black Friday finishing an epic project, and my mother's SO insists on me drinking, to the point where I keep refusing after having had four (weak) beers. Now the SOs brother set me up with Tequila and Coke and I'm not too thrilled as alcohol makes me very antisocial (silence, lack of interest in conversations, and wanting to sleep) Am I doing it wrong?

Hmm... slowly sip soft drinks, pretending there are spirits mixed in with them, and act like a drunk person.

Acting like a drunk person means you can get away with all sorts of things, somehow it's all suddenly acceptable.

What kind of thread is this? Although its proven that sober people who hang around drunk people eventually act drunk themselves...that is if they have drinks you tell them are alcoholic. Just do that.

Four beers though? Cmon, I know you're better than that. Four plus shots, and then we'll talk.

Four beer? Part of the problem.

Ok, beer drunk is your first problem. Try getting drunk off of some gay cocktail. That'll make you a happy drunk!
If that doesn't work, actually drink enough to be talkative, if not outgoing and friendly. Should happen before you pass out.

You've been beaten. I've downed a six-pack of Heineken in one sitting in under an hour followed by an excessive amount of liquor. Half the bottle was consumed by yours truly. I AM THE KING OF LUSHES!!!!!!

I drank 1 beer last night, and that alone gave me a buzz, I'm a light weight so I get drunk easily, and I chug it down like it's coke. but I don't like to drink beer, it makes me piss like a race horse, and the hangover later is not the best feeling in the world.

this is odd but I get along better with Irish black Stought then I do with the generic beer. I'll down a few Guinness and feel better then I do with the beer.

Also it's always good to eat something while you drink.

I think I hate cheap beer. All the responses so far have been helpful, save Sendo's since he can't handle real alcohol like distilled mescaline. Get back to me when you can eat the worm too. I'd normally be able to hold my alcohol and just ride a deep buzz but I guess Bud Light doesn't do that...I guess I'll have to stock up on bourbon, whiskey, tequila, mead, and all the other alcoholl that don't involve being sold in cans or dark cheap bottles.
