Appleseed: Ex Machina

Is anyone else excited for this release? Sure it will not be released till December 31, 2008 but I am looking forward to it.

Looks like it's going to prove to be interesting.

Trailer anyone? http://anime.ign.com/articles/834/834615p1.html

If it's made by the people who made Appleseed 2004 such an unmitigated, steaming pile of excrement, I'm not eager for this release in any way.

If, on the other hand, the people making te new release actually took the time to read the manga (which the makers of Appleseed 2004 could not have done) and have some skill at adapting that to the big screen, then this might be an interesting release.

The trailer actually looks pretty good.

I'm willing to bet that I'll enjoy it, although the over-done action sequences might get annoying.

I have high hopes for it. In response to leader Desslock, it is produced by John Woo but after watching the trailer and reading a little bit about it, it seems like it will be a whole new story so it will be interesting to see how it spans out. Either way take a look at the trailer and decide for yourself.

Im really looking forward to this movie i think im in the minority of people who actually enjoyed the first one i thought it was done very well my only quarrel is it never reached the heights of the amazing opening scene but was still enjoyable.

I enjoyed the first cgi one, not as much as the original animated one the subbed that is, the dubbed was terrible.

Even though I never finished the first one (I will one day....maybe....), This one looks really interesting. I'll look out for this one.
