I just read about it.
I thought that he was out of a job permanently because of his comments.

Yeah, I read about this a while back. I'm happy for him. Hopefully people won't be so stupid this time around...this has happened before, so I won't bank on that..

He deserves to be back on. I'm kind of hoping Al Sharpton goes after the studio that hired him, just because that will be one more opportunity for him to slip up, reveal himself as the bigot he is, and lose his following. At least we know Imus's new bosses aren't as hypocritically sissy-like as his old ones.

Holy cow, she's more wretched than any comment Imus could possibly make. And look at all the good he's done, especially with that ranch for kids with cancer. Are you telling me that he deserved to be out of a job, stopping the flow of cash to poor and sick people which he so generously donated, just because of a little unwarranted insult? /Sorry about the rant, but this is easily the topic I feel strongest about in the past year or so. It was a violation of our freedom of speech, and it proved that the mentality of the racial mob always gets what it wants. |
