wtf only 9999 damage? I could do that damage with a non-valored Dragon Fang with Ryukooh. Now, 100,000 damage, now THAT could 3HKO a Belgerlmir.

Bergelmir isn't anything special. Anyway Ideon Sword and Gun both have a base attack of 9999. With hot blood the damage is usually in the 50k+ range.

Why 9999 and not 10000? Don't all attacks have a base damage ending with zeros? The Huckenbein MK-II Gravity Cannon has a BD of 4000, IIRC, and not something like 3999.

There can only be one! Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (technically Cho Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann) hands down, there's just no way to beat it, ever! ^^

I'm being sarcastic, but not really- the gov'ts had some dirty tricks back then and continue to improve them now.

Megas. From Megas XLR. Think about it. It has an endless supply of weapons, some of which just materialize out of nowhere and then go away for no reason, can fly across galaxies in mere hours, and has defeated entire armies and civilizations single-handedly. Plus, Coop has something on his side no other super robot pilot has, something more powerful than Getter Rays or Spiral Power: dumb luck. Just as TTGL is about Giga Drill Break him, a wormhole opens because of some obscure laser he fired ten minutes ago and sucks TTGL into another dimension. Just as The Getter Emperor (or Shin Getter, or whatever Getter really, choose your poison) is charging his ultimate universe-destroying Getter Beam, a hot dog teleports into some crucial circuitry and causes it to backfire. Give me any super robot with any powers and I'll give you a similar scenario.
