That song is terrible. Do you know what epic really means? Its about massive scale and breathtaking grandeur. The most epic song ever could only come from power metal. Check out Dragonforce or Helloween. I would say the most epic song would be Dragonforce's 'soldiers of the wasteland', 'starfire' or 'where dragons rule'.

Someone once said:

It's true that Dragonforce songs tend to run together and they are pretty much all about the same thing. Every song is about carrying/flying/sailing on. The power is undeniable though and I don't care what people say about Herman Li's guitar style or lack of consistency at live performances.

"2112" is epic. "Through the Fire and Flames" is epic.

The song you posted was not epic.

I'm tired of hearing people think the worst songs are the best songs. Lame is lame!

"2112" by Rush - awesome
"Ace of Spades" - pure classic
"Am I Evil?" by Metallica - f*cking sweet
Jimmy Page doing a guitar solo - insane

"Orion" by Metallica - insane, considering Cliff Burton wrote a ton of the song, and two of the guitar solos were done by him....AND HE PLAYED BASS! actually pretty much any solo played by Burton is jawdropping. Cliff Burton was metal incarnate.

in 11 days it will be 21 years since he died. September 27th, 1986. that was so wrong how he died. im hooking up my TV and DVD player to my stereo that day, putting in Cliff em' All and make the houses all around me think that Ozzfest is playing from my house. but im buying earmuffs for my family. he better be in heaven, cause i wanna see him play in person.

You don't think a lot of Queen's stuff could be considered epic? Like Bohemian Rhapsody, The Show Must Go On, and Princes of the Universe?

Queen is one of the main influences of the power metal genre. Since power metal is epic and Queen is a main influence on power metal, by using the transitive property, we can conclude that Queen is indeed epic.
